VP & GM of Intel Israel Development Center and Intel Validation Engineering in the Design Engineering Group, Intel Corporation
Karin Eibschitz-Segal is vice president in the Design Engineering Group and General Manager of Intel Validation Engineering. In this role, she is responsible for delivering Intel’s promise of highest quality products. Based in Israel, Karin is leading the global Intel engineering organization responsible for functional, electrical and power/performance validation of products in post-Silicon across all market segments.
In addition to her global role, Karin is the General Manager of the Intel Israel Development Center, driving generations of the world’s most advanced compute, network & communication and artificial intelligence technologies. The Intel Israel Development Center is the largest R&D organization in the state of Israel and is considered a national role model for inclusion of diverse populations.
Since joining Intel in 2001, Karin has focused on the development of products, systems and infrastructure, tools, and methods. She has held multiple leadership positions in software, system engineering and validation organizations. Karin was a member of the system validation engineering team that won an Intel Quality Award in 2016, and a member of the diversity and inclusion team that won Intel’s 2018 D&I achievement award.
Karin holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She has been a member of the Technion’s computer science industry advisory board since 2016 and is also a member of the Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI).
In 2017, she was selected by Globes as one of Israel’s 40 most promising young leaders, and in 2019, Forbes Israel highlighted Karin among the 50 most influential and accomplished Israeli women.
