Andreas Urschitz

Chief Marketing Officer and Member of the Management Board

Andreas Urschitz serves as a Chief Marketing Officer and Member of the Management Board of Infineon Technologies AG (IFX).

Prior to being appointed to the Board, he led Infineon’s Power & Sensor Systems Division for ten years, which focuses on power semiconductors driving energy efficiency and sensors powering IoT systems. Before becoming division president, Andreas held several different management roles in production, marketing, development, and sales at Infineon. He also has a degree in Commercial Science from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Andreas firmly believes that decarbonization and digitalization are the two defining challenges of our time. He is passionate about innovating and developing the best technologies and doing his part to shape a future that is worth living – for ourselves and for generations to come. He sees technical development not as an end in itself but as a way to make life better, protect the future of humanity, and make the world a safer and more livable place.

Christopher Thomas

Integrated Insights

Chris Thomas is the founder of Integrated Insights, advising Boards, Chairpersons, and CEOs of global companies. He is a Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University, a Senior Fellow at Brookings, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Previously, Chris was a Partner at McKinsey, leading global practices in semiconductors, digital strategy, and IoT. He also spent a decade at Intel, serving as GM of Intel China, where he grew revenues by over 50% and led a $5B+ P&L. He held multiple executive roles, contributing $20B+ in revenue.

Chris began his career at Blackstone and has served on the board of Velodyne. Recognized as a global semiconductor expert, he was named a national-level foreign expert by China’s State Council. He holds degrees from Stanford and Wharton.

Jean-Marc Chery

President & CEO

STMicroelectronics

Jean-Marc Chery is the President and CEO of STMicroelectronics since May 2018, chairing the Managing Board and Executive Committee. ​ He began his career at Matra and joined Thomson Semiconducteurs (now ST) in 1986, holding various management roles. ​ Chery led ST’s wafer fabs in France, managed a wafer-production restructuring program, and oversaw Front-End Manufacturing in Asia Pacific. ​He became Chief Technology Officer in 2008, later adding responsibilities for Manufacturing, Quality, and the Digital Product Sector. ​ In 2014, he was appointed COO, and in 2017, Deputy CEO. ​

Chery chairs the GSA Board, sits on the boards of France Industrie and Legrand, and chairs the France-Malaysia Business Council. ​ He was named Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2019. ​

Jochen Hanebeck

Jochen Hanebeck has been a member of the Management Board of Infineon Technologies AG since 2016. He has been CEO since 2022 (appointed until 31 March 2027).

Jochen Hanebeck was born in 1968 in Dortmund. He received a degree in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University.

He has been with Infineon since 1994 (Siemens AG until 1999).

Karn Bhudiraj

Karn has broad leadership responsibility including Purchasing, Supplier Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Operations and Program Management. In his previous role at Tesla as Director, Powertrain, Electronics and Programs he led the Global Supply Management organization for Autopilot, Infotainment, Power Electronics and PCBAs. Also responsible for Supply Chain Program Management (Model S, Model X, Autopilot and Model 3) and Supplier Manufacturing Engineering in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Karn has also spent time at Apple and Exxon in procurement roles, and prior to that he was a consultant at Deloitte.

Ondrej Burkacky

Managing Director - Semiconductors

Ondrej is a Managing Director at MGX, one of the largest private equity investors in AI and advanced technologies based in Abu Dhabi and New York. He leads the semiconductor division, where he drives global investments across the entire semiconductor value chain while working to build a semiconductor ecosystem in the UAE.

Prior to joining MGX, he spent 18 years at McKinsey & Company, serving as a Senior Partner and leading the firm’s Global Semiconductor Practice. Ondrej holds a master’s degree in chemistry and a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Munich (LMU).

Tien Wu

Dr. Tien Wu is the Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASE) and concurrently the Chief Executive Officer of Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. (USI). He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of the ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: ASX, TWSE: 3711).

Prior to joining ASE, Tien held several management positions within IBM, including R&D, manufacturing, and sales in the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He holds twelve U.S. patents and has authored over twenty-five articles.

Tien holds a BSCE degree from Taiwan University and earned MS and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics, respectively, from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, Tien received an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from Binghamton University.
