The Rise of Edge AI in Automotive
This online GSA Automotive Interest Group workshop on “THE RISE OF EDGE AI IN AUTOMOTIVE” is hosted as a collaboration between GSA and McKinsey & Company.
We welcome all relevant automotive players: OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, semiconductor ecosystem players, software solutions.
The objective is to present and discuss with you some key hypotheses and ideas. The McKinsey team will then continue to develop the study with further interactions over the coming months, and finally share the findings back with participants. Some topics you can look forward to discussing:
- GenAI automotive use cases, in Infotainment and ADAS/AD, with natural language interactions and interpretability of driving decisions.
- Technological challenges for AI (and GenAI) in automotive: compute requirements, power efficiency, privacy & data security, offline availability, etc..
- Opportunities for both OEMs and semiconductor players, new business models and market perspectives.
