The results highlight an optimistic industry that is laser-focused on “winning” artificial intelligence, while expressing deep concern about the negative impact of geopolitics, including:

  • Industry Evolution: The twin trends of AI and geopolitics are shaping the industry’s trajectory with varied regional views

  • Government Policies: Companies express diverse opinions on government support, debating whether market forces or government actions will drive future strategy and investment

  • Regional Competitiveness: Optimism about innovation and talent attraction in the U.S. and manufacturing and scaling new innovations in Asia.

  • Home Court Bias: Respondents tend to view their own regional capabilities more favorably than those of other regions

  • Strategic Priorities: Companies plan to prioritize innovation investment over supply chain resilience, moving beyond traditional strategies to embrace a new strategic playbook for the AI era.
