About Dan Niles
Dan Niles is the Founder of Niles Investment Management and has been the Portfolio Manager since 2004. Renowned for his expertise in the technology sector, Dan’s career has spanned decades earning a reputation for insightful market analysis and investment strategies.
Prior to founding Niles Investment Management, Dan started his Wall Street career in 1990 at Robertson Stephens in mergers and acquisitions before acting as Managing Director in Equity Research until 2000.
Dan joined Lehman Brothers in 2000 as the Senior Sell-Side Equity Research Analyst covering computer hardware and semiconductors. From 2004 to 2009, he was a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers, and Chief Executive Officer of Neuberger Berman Technology Management. From 2004 to present, Dan has been a hedge fund manager.
Dan received a BS in Systems Engineering from Boston University and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and began his career as an Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation.
